The appointment matters. Getting there shouldn’t be the hard part.
Booked transport from Bribie Island to Caboolture Hospital and beyond — door to door, with a local driver you’ll know by name.
The fare we quote is the fare you pay.
No surge, no meter anxiety. You’ll know the cost before you confirm, and it won’t change because it rained or the traffic was slow.
Door to door means door to door.
Not a horn from the kerb. If it helps, your driver meets you at your front door, stows the walker, and walks you into the clinic to the front desk. Just tell us what you need when you book.
One local driver, not a stranger every trip.
You’ll ride with Bruce — a Bribie local and TMR-authorised booked-hire driver (that authorisation includes national police and transport history checks). Same face, same car, every time.
A car that’s easy to get into.
A quiet, comfortable electric SUV with easy front-seat access and room in the back for a walker or folding wheelchair. No climbing, no squeezing.
No app required.
Book with a phone call to a person. If you’re handy with a phone, you can also book online — and our regulars can add DyComDrive to their home screen.
Booking for Mum or Dad?
Arrange their trip from anywhere. We meet them at the door, get them to their appointment, and let you know they’re safely home.
How it works
Book.
Call 07 3558 1076 or book online. Tell us where you’re going and when you need to be there — and whether you’d like a hand at either end.
We confirm.
You get your pickup time and your fixed fare, by text or over the phone. Booking for a parent? We’ll keep you in the loop too.
On the day.
Your driver arrives at your door with time to spare, gets you there calmly, and brings you home when you’re done.
Tell us once, and it’s remembered.
Vision not what it was? Steadier with an arm to lean on? When you book, tell us what helps — meet me at the door, walk me in, wait while I check in. It’s saved with your details, so every trip after that just works. You’ll never have to explain yourself twice.
A quiet ride, no explanations needed.
DyComDrive is driven by a neurodivergent owner-driver, so this part isn’t a policy — it’s lived understanding. If small talk drains you, if noise is too much, if unpredictability is the hard part of travel, tell us once and every trip runs your way.
- Silent running. No conversation, no radio, no questions. Get in, travel, arrive.
- Minimal contact. Booking and updates by text; a nod at the door instead of chat.
- Predictable, every time. The same driver, the same car, a message when we’re on the way, and no surprises in between.
- No diagnosis talk, ever. We don’t ask why. “Quiet ride please” is a complete sentence.
- The calm route. If motorways, tunnels or heavy traffic are the problem, ask for quiet roads and we’ll plan the gentler way around. Sometimes the calm way is a little longer, so these options can add to the fare — you’ll see the exact price in your quote before you book, never as a surprise on the day. (Full honesty: there’s one road off Bribie, and at school run or peak hour nothing about it is quiet. We can’t fix the bridge — but we can keep the cabin calm while you’re crossing it.)
And if you’d rather talk the whole way to Caboolture, that’s fine too — you set the dial, we drive to it.

The dog comes too.
The back of our SUV is properly fitted out for animals — a full quilted liner, side protection, and a bumper flap for claws-safe loading — so your pet rides comfortably and the car stays clean for the next passenger. Road-tested daily by our own golden retriever.
- Vet and groomer runs, with you. Plenty of taxis say no to pets. We planned for them. Ride along to the vet with your dog in the back — including the hard visits, where you shouldn’t have to drive yourself home.
- Pet-only trips. Drop-off and pick-up for the groomer, the kennel, or a day procedure at the vet — we take them, you stay put, and we text you when they’re delivered and collected.
- Assistance animals are not pets. Guide and assistance dogs always travel in the cabin with their handler, at no charge, as of right. That’s the law, and it’s also just how it should be.
- Allergies taken seriously. The liner is removed and the area cleaned between animal trips, and if you’re allergic, tell us once — we’ll never book you into the car straight after a pet run, and a shared ride will never pair you with a dog.
Going the same way as a neighbour?
Plenty of Bribie trips head to the same place — the hospital, mostly. If you’re happy to share the car, you can ask to join a ride that someone has already booked, and both of you pay less. Nothing is shared without a yes from everyone: the person who booked first, and the driver. You’ll see exactly what you’d pay before you agree.
A little flexible on time? Leaving half an hour earlier can save you real money.
Questions people ask
Do I need an app or the internet?
No. A phone call does everything.
Can my daughter or son book for me?
Yes — families book for parents all the time. With your okay, we can text them when you’ve been picked up and dropped home.
Can you wait and bring me home after my appointment?
Yes — tell us when you book.
I use a walker or a folding wheelchair.
No trouble — it travels in the boot, and your driver handles the lifting. Powered wheelchairs we can’t carry, but we’ll help you find a service that can.
How much will it cost?
You’ll get a fixed quote when you book, before you confirm anything.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes — the back is fitted out for pets. Book the pet in so the car’s set up when we arrive.
Can you take my pet without me?
Yes — groomer, kennel and vet drop-offs, with a text when they’re safely there and back.
What areas do you cover?
Bribie Island and surrounds, down to North Lakes and up to Caloundra — Caboolture Hospital runs are our bread and butter.
DyComDrive is the transport arm of DyCom Group Queensland Pty Ltd — a Bribie Island business, not an app from somewhere else. We operate as a licensed booked-hire service with the Department of Transport and Main Roads, the vehicle is commercially insured for passenger work, and a documented safety management system sits behind every trip. Small print that matters, handled properly.
